Who are Cymark and what do we do?
Cymark was founded in 1995, at that time drawing on Motor Trade experience that reached back to the 1960’s and right up to the mid 1990’s
The directors of the company having gained senior management and director level experience with RTZ, JCT600, Skipper Group, Brookshaw Ford and Templar Plc.
Originally based in Wetherby, we moved to Harrogate in 1998.
Outside of charities, the company exclusively works for the Motor Trade, working for all levels of retailer, right from the single site single franchise dealership, through family owned groups, multi-national groups and vehicle manufacturers directly.
Every single person within the company today has experience of making telemarketing calls to customers and prospects on behalf of a car dealership. And that includes the current MD Guy Winter.
We believe that we represent your dealership, at the very sharp end when speaking to customers. We take that responsibility very seriously. We will always strive to be polite and courteous and seek to show the dealership in the best possible light.
It is because of this approach that we run our calling teams the way that we do.
Our callers are not placed in a high pressure environment. Instead, they all work in small teams and are not targeted on how many calls they achieve within a set period of time. Our management team know how many a particular individual will make and their typical results.
You can’t target someone on the number of ‘yes’ responses they get within an hour, they would simply put the phone down as soon as they realised they weren’t getting anywhere. Many of us have come across sales executives like that!
