How do you improve conversion rates?

A conversion rate is the number of actual sales you get from an particular level or source of enquiries. Cymark improves a retailers conversion rate through lost sale and enquiry follow up to re-contact customers after their initial enquiry has been received, and perhaps forgotten, by the sale team. Usual increases in conversion rate (per 100 records) is – 22% sales against enquiries. With lost sale follow up 26%.

How do you get more showroom appointments?

If you are gearing up for an event and have sent out a campaign DM (direct marketing) piece, the best way is to call as many customers as you can and ask them if they are interested in your offer and can you ‘book them in’ for an appointment.

Cymark specialises in making marketing calls, as campaign follow ups to make timed showroom appointments. It is all time dependent, how many records do you have, how many callers are required to attempt those calls in the week / 10 days leading up to the event. How do you reduce lost sales?

Every sales environment has lost sales. You can’t get it right every time. The trick is to make sure that the customer gets followed up in a particular way : Did they definitely get followed up, did they get offered everything they expected as a result of their enquiry (test drive, finance quote), did they buy from a competitor and if they didn’t when are they likely to be in the market.

Customers like to be sold to, they get disillusioned with a sales executive very quickly if they don’t seem interested in their business. The Cymark lost sale programme follow up all un-sold enquiries and runs through the correct questions. It also establishes, for the sales manager, what strengths and weaknesses there are within the sales team.

Can you build a local business database?

You can build a local business database, you can’t buy one anymore if you intent to use it for marketing. The best approach is to find a list of suitable companies in your catchment area and call them. Not a high pressure sales call, just the name of the person who is likely to be the person making the decision and their email address. That is the start of your database.

Can you buy a local business database?

You can, but we wouldn’t advise it. 2024 changes around email marketing have really tightened up what is and what isn’t acceptable. Very few sold business databases, or email lists are worth it. A recent validity check of a clients marketing database showed that 86% of the email records were either incorrect or would identified your campaign as spam.

Can you validate an email list?

Yes. Two ways, either the electronic assessment will check the IP addresses of the list and produce a free overview of how good / bad your list is.

If necessary Cymark can call all companies, identified as having incorrect records. Sounds horrendous, but if done monthly it is a really sensible option.

Can you call post service customers within 24 hours?

As the manufacturer requires, Cymark can call post service customers : 24hrs, 48hrs or any other time frame after their visit to the workshop.

The calls can correctly ask the customer about their experience at the dealership and also emphasise the importance of completing the manufacturers survey should one arrive by email.

Can you increase parts sales?

Like local business, Cymark can call all of the local body shops and mechanical sites within a sensible driving distance of the dealership. Store all of the information on a dedicated online database – just for you – and email those contacts every week. Calling records as people change and calling the best records to see if they have any ** your brand ** coming in that week.

Unfortunately the answer is how long is a piece of string. How many records do you have, what message are you trying to get across, how good is your offer? It won’t be as much as you expect and at Cymark we have no minimum or maximum levels.

Plus you won’t be tied into a length contact and can start or stop as often as you wish.
